It’s a Great Day in the Morning, Family and Friends!
Are you suffering from brain fog and mental burnout? Are you having memory problems and just can’t seem to concentrate? Is your brain tired? Are you burning the candle at both ends? You feel drained and tired after intense physical activity, and long periods of intense mental activity can wear you out, too. You might lose interest in a certain thing or even in life itself. Burnout can be caused by demands or responsibilities placed on you by others or even by ourselves.
If you spend long hours studying for those exams, if you spend a lot of time every day dealing with overwhelming responsibilities or stressing out thinking through problems and worries at your job, at your home, or at your church, the Good News is that the Bible tells us we need to rest in Jesus. We can refresh ourselves in the Lord by praying and reading encouraging Scriptures from the Bible or restoring our joy through cooking, going for a walk, biking, playing with our kids or grandkids, watching a funny uplifting movie, or even spending time at the beach. But most of all trusting God.
Let us meditate on:
Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
